Will, 2013
Last week I was setting up the exhibition space for my final piece of degree work to be accessed. It was a chance to hang out with friends and get covered in paint. I also did some portraits.
Oh and check out Will’s work
NEW WORK… yo
This is a project I have been working on for a while now. I walked around the M25 motorway, with my view camera - in an inevitable circle.
Paul, 2013
This portrait is from a series I have been working on called The Road Not Taken. I walked around the M25.
I walked the banks of the road as if it were a river. I would walk for a few miles, then retrace my steps back to the van, then drive to where I last reached on foot, and walk again. This process continued until I had completed my 117mile inevitable circle. As usual I didn’t particularly know what I was looking for until I found it. A bit like Paul I reckon.
